Depression is painful and sharp, like the tips of the nails protruding from this piece of wood. It wraps you in darkness, blinding you and preventing you from seeing the positive side of what lies ahead.
The other side of the coin, what depression hides, is symbolized by the head of the nail: a detail often invisible but essential. Depression is hard to understand, but even harder to accept. It must be touched and faced with courage.
The truth—real truth—is just beyond.
